Identifying and Reducing Alcohol Harm in the Workplace

Research and Development Grant

This is a co-funded project, financed jointly by Alcohol Research UK and Balance North East.  It supports the Alcohol Health Network in developing online alcohol awareness tools in the workplace, providing an innovative approach to identifying and reducing alcohol harm at work. The pilot uses NICE recommended IBA approaches online across multiple workforces, providing learning for strategic leads in public health as well as occupational health teams and workforce health development practitioners. It also informs the design of a multi-centre randomised controlled trial of the effectiveness of eSBI in this setting.
